We started at Acura to see Galatic...acustics sucked at L7...we finally gave up and went to Cowboy Mouth at the other end....fantastic show. Hooked up with the "N" nation...great time for both CM and Allmans. Left early to catch some Ig....also great show.

I know! Friday got a little messed up as you know....but I was set up right behind the Ciscos and Mymecca at Acura before all hell broke loose. Cisco was laughing cause he saw my teens hauling butt up to the front for Benjy Davis Project and as they passed him Lindsey hollered, "HEY! Our mom's coming up behind us!" I did see a few more TH's at Miss Lena's though....working hard in the nastiness. Then yesterday I told Jimmy not to let me forget to go to the meetup. That plan failed cause we both remembered too late. I spotted Ms Seebass at Acura in the same spot as Friday but it was too crazy to try to get there. Do you miss me?

After seeing a great set by Stephen Marley, we tried to catch some Allmans - but just couldn't find a good spot (even out on the track) in the ginourmous crowd of about 57 billion people (and the sound was awful, even by a speaker stack) . . . so we went and rescued the afternoon at the Iguanas!

I'm hoping that the live recordings will include the Allmans, so I can actually hear what we tried to see in vain. ;)

In beatnik lingo, L7 referred to a square, an unhip cat. In this instance I think he's referring to a certain spot on the infield. Many people don't notice that markings appear on poles in certain spots.

Same thing happened to us--it was fun to see you there, kitten. Allmans sound was awful and the only space was ON the track. But the Iguanas were great. We ended up going to the cinco de mayo party to hear them later that nite, but for their first set they played what seemed like traditional mexican music, not like what we heard at fest. That made us tired so we went back to rest up for an awesome last day of fest.
