It's easy Lis! For color, click the color before you begin typing and the cursor will be in the middle of the codes. If you want to do it after, just make sure you highlight and select the text.

For pix, click on that box that is yellow and looks like a sun over a mountain and just add the url of any pix on the internet. To get the url, right click on the pix and hit "properties" and copy the whole url, like this (make sure you don't have the http:// in there twice because it's already in there automatically):

I think just about any site works, but ofoto does not for some reason. (FYI, I learned all of this from my pre-wedding days posting on the knot). I know they'll come off your myspace just fine, the key is to right click, then click on properties, then cut and paste the whole url . . .

Amy, you can go into your Control Panel (User CP, upper left) to Edit Options and change your reply editor to WYSIWYG (dropdown at the bottom of the page). It's much simpler than looking at codes...

Aww, shoot, I wish I was better at explaining technical things. Go to a site that allows linking, like snapfish, shutterfly or, I've now learned, myspace. Click on the pix til you have a full page view. Then RIGHT click on the pix (not regular click). A list will pop up, and the bottom one is "properties." Click that, then copy the entire url that is shown (it can be kind of long). Same deal, highlight it, RIGHT click for a "copy" option, then copy.

To attach it here, click the little icon that is yellow sun over mountains. It already has the http:// built in, so when you paste your link you're going to get that twice, be sure to delete on set so you only have http:// once. Then click okay. It's really easy, though by my explanation it may not seem like it is!

Hi everyone--I will have to have some serious blonde study sessions to figure out the picture thing....I have my two black labs sitting in the chair with me though studying it all to give technical advice.

Couple things:
1) So --like this seems pretty cool--what are the decorum rules--do we get to discuss nutria penises? (I think there was an unanswered nutria "ding dong" question on the last board--and so do the male penisified nutrias also have 8 teats)
2) Wow--fonts and all--it could get exciting or at least more dramatic.
3) Should we regulars post contact info?
4) If they can do all this it seems like there should be scratch and sniff capabilities. And free beer.
5) Just because there is spellcheck doesn't mean the threadhead dictionary would not get more interesting....our group will probably have serious problems with the spellcheck anyway after a couple dinkies.

Oh Lis, I'm not offended. I regard the tiprail as the interactive part of the scene. I always thought Pervert's row were those guys at the bar that just stared at everybody and never parted with a dime!
And Joey, I've never seen the Rose Bowl except in pictures and TV but I know what you mean. I love old stadiums, hate to see them abandoned like Tiger Stadium for these new joints. BTW, the Randy Newman show was solo w/piano. Randy's a very dry guy and the songs were very short without much in the way of musical embellishment. He introduced a few with little stories, but mostly just a short take. Interestingly, he played "Louisiana 1927" without comment and the audience didn't react all that much to it. Opended with "It's Money that I Love" and closed with "I Think it's Gonna Rain Today." Played two sets and most of the hits except "Sail Away." Would have been cool to have seen him with a band, but all in all, a pretty good time.:cool:

They came out pretty good, it just a homemade brownie recipe, with chopped up Snickers in it. But David could only find a mixed bag of Snickers; regular Snickers, Snickers almond & Snickers crunch, so they have all three!
