Grand Opening Bar

Ok tarbenders, I was just given a bottle of Wild Turkey 101...what goes good with this besides ice??

Here ya go dt. This is really a summertime dink for me, but I'll take one now,
please.
Scale it up and make a pitcher with the whole bottle and share with friends.

4 fresh mint sprigs
2 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
1 tsp powdered sugar
2 tsp water

Muddle mint leaves, powdered sugar, and water in a collins glass. Fill the glass with shaved or crushed ice and add bourbon. Top with more ice and garnish with a mint sprig.

OMIGOD...i never knew there was a parallel universe called Margaritaville, I went there..and there were ahem...well..."older, middle-aged" people dressed in grass skirts, parrot costumes, and so many men wearin' coconuts on their chests! The drinking, the dancing, the spectacle of people with expensive motorhomes, dancing on the roofs, flinging beads...wearing cheeseburger hats!!!
And that was only the parking lot!!
..fins to the left, fins to the rights...jeez louise...and then the music, Sonny Landreth sittin in, oh they rocked the filled to capacity amphitheatre on it's ears. Who knew? Not me, but what a delightful discovery!!

Thanks DT! Actually the in room margaritas worked out just fine, mixed up the whole bottle of tequila and took the extra along, finished before heading in, then had the bottle of jager for the rest of the day. Think I need to detox!
