N.O. Arena box office extends hours

Box Office Hours at
The New Orleans Arena box office will remain open until 7 p.m. on Thursday and on May 3 to accommodate the demand for advance tickets for the 2007 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

The ticket office is on Girod Street facing the Superdome. Free parking is available in Lot #3, on the side of the Arena facing the former Macy's garage.

Ticket office hours:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Thursday Apr. 26 & Thursday May 3, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Fridays, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Jazzfest Ticket prices:
$37 in advance (Monday through Thursday) at Arena Box Office
$45 at the gate (Fair Grounds)

Went to pick up my tickets yesterday at about 2:00- the line was out of the door BUT they had 6 ticket windows open and it moved relatively fast - i was out of there w/in 1/2 hour...

Also, its posted somewhere else on the board - but if you are paying CASH at the Arena, the tickets are $37.00. If you are paying with a credit card or debit card there is an additional "convience charge" - i want to say its $1.20 (so total ticket cost would be $38.20) additional per ticket, but i'm not positive because i paid cash......

Yes, it's $38.20 if you use a CC. Lines yesterday around 1PM were moving quite well.....around a 20 minute wait. You can park for free in lot 3 next to the Arena (on the side towards the Hyatt).
