That is great news!
I actually turned on my teevee this morning to see Harry Shearer being interviewed on one of our local stations. He was in town promoting the reunion and a few other things, and he's apparently here for a few days...I would love to bump into him again!
The guy is nothing if not prolific. While most people hit the circuit to promote their latest project, Harry is out there promoting the Spinal Tap Reunion (and a Tap-related DVD release of something or another), his own DVD featuring some of his best comedy clips from SNL, etc., his novel, the Simpson's 20th anniversary and the release of the Simpson's movie this summer...
"Hello, Cleveland!"
Is he heading to New Orleans soon? I usually run into him at Snug Harbor during Fest.

Yep, I saw Harry at the Big Easy Awards the night before last - I was there helping out and he was the MC.
He had a super funky tuxedo outfit on and was very funny (Duh.) :)

Not this year. My long fued with the evil bastards at the IRS is coming to a close. I expect to be travelling again by Fall. I'll be here in Atlanta monitoring the Sens, Sabres, and Sharks so think of me out there on the Fairgrounds.

Dude, if you can get your azz to NOLA, I can accommodate you for the second weekend..my treat. (I've got a 1 bedroom that sleeps 6 booked from the 4th to the 11, but I'm leaving on the 9th.) Think about it!
That's very kind and generous but I still lack the doe ray me. I'll run it by Special K this morning though.
