The cost for the roundtrip shuttle from the Downtown departure points is $16.00 per person per day. The cost from City Park (Marconi Meadows) is $14.00 per person per day, which includes parking.

Packages combining the Jazz Fest Express with advance admission tickets will be available for sale on April 25-26 and May 2-3 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the following locations:

Steamboat Natchez Dock (Toulouse St. at the River),
Sheraton Hotel concierge desk (500 Canal St.),
Marriott Hotel concierge desk (555 Canal St.), and
Hilton Hotel concierge desk (2 Poydras St.).

The cost for Express tickets and advance Jazz Fest admission per person per day will be $51.00 for Downtown departures and $49.00 for City Park/Marconi Meadows departures. Day of sales will be $61.00 for Downtown departures and $59 for City Park/Marconi Meadows departures. Gray Line is not permitted to sell Jazz Festival admission tickets separately.

Express and admission tickets may also be purchased by calling 504-569-1401 or 800-535-7786.


No mention of service fees. If so, if you've been planning to buy at the gate to avoid Ticketbastard, this isn't a bad deal. $51 for ticket + bus if you call by Thursday, vs. $45 ticket + $10 cab with tip.

Yep, it's true. We bought ours that way (makes the $16 Fest Express price a lot easier to swallow).

Well, that means I'll be lining up for tix at the arena on Thurs. I was hoping to buy tix at the Sheraton and charge them, rather than pay cash at the gates. Not planning on taking the JF Express. Wonder why they're not allowing JF tix only?

Because they want to make you buy the bus ticket. It's just a good option for some, like myself, who won't be there until Friday morning, when Fest tickets will be $45.

It says "Grey Line* can't sell the tix alone. Doesn't mean the Sheraton can't, so it's worth at leats asking the concierge.

But if not, I assume GL is contractually limited, to protect TM's profits.
