Too Late to Buy Tix at Arena

Hey Now All--- I fly down on Thursday afternoon, and while I usually just buy my tix at the Fairgrounds, would it be possible to get advance tickets at the arena? I am not too concerned with the $$$ aspect, but if I could avoid waiting in line at Fest, AND save some beer money, it might be worth the trouble..... Anyone know when the arena sales end? Cant wait to see you all, Safe Travels---Matthew

Hey Now Frosty---- Sorry about that, I screwed up!!! I will head to the arena on Thursday afternoon around 3:00 pm. Does anyone else need me to pick up advance tix for them? I will be happy to do so, but would like to meet up on Thursday night to hand them over. I can cover the $$$ for the tickets, if we can square up sometime later that evening..... This Fest is gonna be one we will talk about for years to come, I can feel it already!!!

According to (I think) Windowman, the Arena box office does take plastic, but then you pay an extra $1.20 per ticket ($38.20 per).

Yes cash is best & U still pay the 1.20 fee per ticket. With credit card its more fee's .......but not TM Fees!!!

Hey Now All--- I just had a friend generously offer to pick my tickets up for me when he is at the Arena, so I wont need to worry about rushing over there directly from the airport. (thanks Frank!!!) N.O. Arena box office extends hours

Box Office Hours at The New Orleans Arena box office will remain open until 7 p.m. on Thursday and on May 3 to accommodate the demand for advance tickets for the 2007 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.


The ticket office is on Girod Street facing the Superdome. Free parking is available in Lot #3, on the side of the Arena facing the former Macy's garage.

Ticket office hours:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Thursday Apr. 26 & Thursday May 3, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Fridays, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Jazzfest Ticket prices:
$37 in advance (Monday through Thursday) at Arena Box Office
$45 at the gate (Fair Grounds)
