I just got this email from Scoop:
Hey all,
As some of you [are} probably already on the threads I can't seem to post from home. As you can see I am registered. I replied to the emails, I can see the threads etc. I can't edit my profile, can't post. I have a Imac with internet explorer. Could internet explorer be the problem as when I quickly went on from my work computer it seemed to work fine.

Got it, Chris. I don't know whether Scoop's machine will handle Firefox.
We'll see...
I sent Scoop an e suggesting a firefox-like browser for older mac os, called icab. He had written that his os was too old for an upated browser. good luck Scoop!
I've had lots of issues too. Loggin in (I think) has been resolved. I'm still having probles uploading pictures from my computer though. It says they exceed the size limit. I'm kind of a computer idiot and can't figure out how to resize them so I can attach to a message. :o

we tried to make a fix which might help him but he would probably be best served (as chris joseph mentioned) by getting firefox

the easiest way to do pictures is to upload them to a site that will take larger file sizes and then link the picture to the boards here. one site i use that works well is
http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/
once you upload a photo, it will give you links for thumbnails and then for full image. use the link for full image for posting photos here via link.
If you want to upload from your computer, there is an easy to use program that will let you resave files in smaller sizes, go to
http://www.irfanview.com/

Hmm, maybe Scoop needs to upgrade his puter! There are a lot of good deals out there now (Scoop, Craigslist!)

I saw this very old post and before realizing I had hit the last page of threads I thought to myself, "How the heck is Scoop STILL having trouble with the board?"
Well that was back in 2006...

#$%#%%!!! I log in and this is first thing I see and I'm like what the #$%$ is this? I got problems I know about and now I read that I got some I didn't even %^^%ing know about !! You are KILLIN me here! :)
I'm doing okay Blue. Let shoot for some beers next weekend.
