ATL -> NOLA??

Hello all,

Looking for A RIDE/RIDER for JAZZFEST this weekend (1st wknd: April 27-29th). This will be my 5th consecutive year.

I am planning on leaving ATLANTA Thurs 26th afternoon or night or would be open to Early Fri (27th) morning. Returning NOLA -->ATL Sunday (29th) late afternoon or Monday Morning the 30th.

I am more than willing to help pay for gas or rental car.

I would be more than willing to help you out, but our schedule just isnt meshing. There is some work stuff that is going to keep my in Atlanta till about noon on Friday, and then I have to make a run to Columbus on my way to NOLA. The other problem is that I am not coming back on Sunday, as I am going both weekends.

You should try to post your rideshare needs on the atlanta craigslist board...

Hey Oscar, if you can't find anyone, and flights are too expensive, check out Amtrak. ATL <=> N.O. Roundtrip for about $120.

Good deal yes, however, there are no trains departing ATL on Thurs and the Fri train doesn't get there untill 7:23pm on Fri.
...I may have to have an Ignatious J. Rilley experience on an abominable bus...
I've posted on craigslist, myspace, and have even taken to asking random people I see wearing ridiculously bright clothing and grotesquely cheap sunglasses.
