will there be an opening act for the Funky Meters w/ Derek Trucks?

just wondering for I see the show starts at 9PM and am trying to figure out if the Funky Meters will go on then or if there will be an opening act.

I intend to catch the Allman Brothers and their set ends at 7PM and I know I'll want some time to get back from the fairgrounds, clean up, rest, refuel and that may be tough to do by 9PM.

I was wondering the same thing. I am going to contact HOB's...
I love going to Liuzza's right after fest and then have a few drinks and listen to music back at the room before heading back out for the night. 9pm at HOB's seems very early.

Just spoke to the box office at HOB's. He said to check back in a week for the breakdown of that evening. He said it isn't clear what the exact time for them is or if there is an opener.
He did say that if there isn't an opener then they will go on between 9 and 9:30pm. He mentioned that he would think they would go on a bit later because there isn't a later show that night. I see that Umphrey's is playing there later that night.

umphrey's is playing the night before. late night friday/early morning saturday.

nothing is scheduled after the funky meters so it could be a late running show. I assume that a opening band will be announced. Or at least I hope one is so I can stroll in later w/o missing much.

then it's probably off to Howlin' Wolf for the 2AM free Rebirth show!
