I was going to see the Hot 8 Brass Band this Friday in Chicago at the HOB Front Porch, but woke up to snow. I can't take it!!! So I used a free flight certificate this morning to go to New Orleans this Friday for French Quarter Fest!! I was also able to get a hotel thru Priceline for $45 and am staying at the 4* Hilton Riverside. Going to be a great weekend and tuneup for my 2nd weekend of Jazzfest!! Life is great!
