Please look for me if you're not too busy trippin' in the funk-ecstacy zone. I won't be getting there til late, but when I do, I plan to head right down front. Curly, short red hair on a head that's sure to be bobbing to da beat and a loud appreciative NYC whistle that's guaranteed to make John Gros look right at me and crack up! (When I called Harper's they said PGF starts at 10:00, and Honeytribe at 9:00. Yeah, right!)

Well, I meant New York whistle as in Loud, but I was not the only one, nor the only female, whistling. It was fairly crowded, but I barely budged from my spot right in front of Jason (with curly red hair, glittery black/white top, having the best time dancing with a young, tall, blond funkster with red plaid pants). Look for me at Big Sam and come say hi PLEASE!
(Oh yeah, about that supposed 10:00 p.m. PGF start time I was quoted: NOT! More like 11:20; found an awesome parking spot, and my timing was flawless. )

You guys just gotta do something like wear a T'head button, etc. to all musical outings so you can recognize each other!!

Jodie, so glad you got your funk on! Heard the NYC show was smoking too. We get them again in January out here, already on the calendar.

Yep, that was me with the long sparkly top (which is actually a skirt that I wore to a zydeco dance earlier in the evening and then put on some jeans and converted it into a top - clever, huh?). Yeah you rite, CBH, gonna try to remember to wear the Threadhead button next time. Although I'm not sure who will notice it on my chest in a dark bar.
