Rebirth was CRACKALACKIN!!! It restored my faith in life, yo!!

Typical of Sacra-tomato Jazz Jubilee audiences, the majority of the folks there were sitting in the chairs like an audience full of mannequins and Denbear and I were the ONLY folks dancing up front . . . but the funk of RBB cannot be denied and by the end of the evening the front was jam packed with peeps getting their funk on!!!

There's also Lake Winnapesaukee amusement park (complete with a Mad/Wild Mouse ride) there! ;)

his in-laws are right across the line from Dalton
we've done Rock City, Ruby Falls, Incline, ect.
they were okay, but i found them to be a little overpriced
anyone going to Chattanooga be sure to eat at the Acropolis
it's a family run operation with the best authentic Greek dishes
don't remember the road, but it is close to the big mall
you take the Shallowford Rd exit off I75N, then turn right

Well now, chica - having had mice as pets - there's a difference between a mouse and a rat . . .

We have a lot of field mice infiltrate houses up in the hills here - my mom's had quite the mouse tribe partay up in her house in years past . . . but I'd never leave the house because of one. Dey's only just wee little mousies ;)

I'd eaten Taco Bell for dinner, sure my fingers still smelled like fast food, I'm sound asleep and feel a stabbing on my finger, open eyes and there's a little furrry blob biting me! Scream and jump up, throw Calvin (cat) into the room and tell him to catch the damn mouse (no help at all). I slept on the couch til extermination was done.

Oh, and at the same house, my roommate had a snake fall out of the shower head on her when she was in the shower in the dark one morning. It was an old house ;)

I'm just impressed there's a Greek place in Chattanooga nowadays!!! Back in the day when I was a kid there, dere weren't no interesting other cultural foods like dat . . .

As a Greek food fan, I would recommend trying the spanakopita (yum, yum, yum!) and the stuffed grape leaves (which I've made and that's a tough recipe to make at home) for appetizers; and the moussaka (another one of my very favorite Greek dishes to make), pastitso or gyros for the dinner entree - for a true Greek food experience . . . although I just ate not too long ago and looking at their menu online is making me REALLY hungry again! :D

It looks like anything you would order there would be excellent and very tasty!! Enjoy, P-chippie!!! :)

I'm just impressed there's a Greek place in Chattanooga nowadays!!! Back in the day when I was a kid there, dere weren't no interesting other cultural foods like dat . . .

As a Greek food fan, I would recommend trying the spanakopita (yum, yum, yum!) and the stuffed grape leaves (which I've made and that's a tough recipe to make at home) for appetizers; and the moussaka (another one of my very favorite Greek dishes to make), pastitso or gyros for the dinner entree - for a true Greek food experience . . . although I just ate not too long ago and looking at their menu online is making me REALLY hungry again! :D

Ohpa, indeed. The only greek food I've ever had is gyros (love those!), baklava and spanikopitas. I think I'm just gonna be happy to get out of town. :D

Of course, when I was in Crete, the locals used lots of fresh- caught seafood in their dishes, and we don't have the "Giant Bean" here in the USA, and you can't buy a stack of China plates to smash when the bouzookie music & dancing start, but I love the Mediterranean food!

Make sure you get a nice glass of chilled retsina. I think it tastes best in a chilled metal drinking vessel.

PC just got back from a trip with Chicklet....they went to Chatanooga TN....

lol, I took my niece and chicklet to Chattanooga to see Rock City (she got to be Goldilocks in an interactive play there; they had a Fairytale festival going on that day), the Incline, the fabulous Chattanooga Aquarium (got to pet a stingray and a shark), the Chattanooga Ducks (they let Chicklet drive the boat!), the Chattanooga Choo Choo, the pedestrian bridge and Coolidge Park! Ate very good and had a BLAST. Chicklet got to swim every day, too. Very relaxing and a very nice weekend. Still recuperating, lol.

I got to drive a Duck in Boston a few years ago . . . it was SO cool!! I love petting stingrays at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, but they don't have sharks or otters to pet . . they do have a great otter exhibit though.

I'm glad to know that Rock City and the Chattanooga Choo Choo still are there and fun to go see.

Cool...Rosebud worked at the aquarium last summer and got a chance to work the touch pool area showing people the correct way to touch the sea critters.

Fun, fun, FUN!!!

I got to drive a Duck in Boston a few years ago . . . it was SO cool!! I love petting stingrays at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, but they don't have sharks or otters to pet . . they do have a great otter exhibit though.

I'm glad to know that Rock City and the Chattanooga Choo Choo still are there and fun to go see.

What a wonderful trip to take with the Chicklet!! :D

lol, she started yelling happy feet as soon as we walked in there! I think Chicklet had the best time of all of us . . . again. We all went on a cruise together two years ago and she had more fun than any of us. And that's saying a lot!

Rosie, your lesson for the day... we have just started winter. Glorious winters up here in the tropics. Days are around 26-30 degrees celcius which is I think about 80 degrees in your language. It NEVER gets cold here... for about a week or two in the middle of winter we might need a light sweater, but that's it. Mind you the ocean temp drops too much for me! Doesn't r*#n much in winter 'cos we have our wet during the summer months. We don't really have definition between our seasons... it goes from warm and dry to hot and wet!

Gotta stop talking now so I can see what new pics Scoop Dawg has posted. Cheers!
