Of course after watching last nights NY baseball nothing is certain. Last night Yanks up 5-0 in the sixth and lose 7-6 in 10. And Tampa Bay had FIVE HITS for the game. Meanwhile the Mets are down 10-3 starting the bottom of the ninth and score
6 runs in the inning, have the tying run on third before losing 10-9.

And THAT my friends is why baseball is the best sport there is.

Thanks darlin. We stunk up the joint and didn't deserve anything. But living here or any northern city I think if you're a baseball fan, when the seasons over there's a extra grrrr, cause it really means summers done, and soon enough the winter blahs (excluding the holidays) will be here. And that's why it's something special when pitchers and catchers report.....that means soon it'll be spring. If you're not a fan, you wouldn't understand. If you are.....you know.

It goes good -- way too busy at work, but other than that, all is well. My sister and I are going to Bali on November 3 for about 10 days to visit her son who is there on a design internship with jewelry designer John Hardy (www.johnhardy.com). He's learning how to build bamboo houses, really! Then stopping in Hong Kong on the way home. This is all exciting, but I'm really jealous of everyone being in New Orleans for Voodoo and festgiving!

Hey cutie! Chicklet's got the Halloween spirit and can't wait. We went on to a hayride and bonfire last night and it was awesome. They had hot dogs and bowls of homemade chili and stuff to make frito pies. And they had cookies and brownies and pie. Then we went on the hayride and it was like a real old-fashioned hayride like when I was growing up. We went out in the woods and the sky was full of stars and you could see the milky way and the big dipper and the weather was PERFECT, just right. Then when we got smack dab in the middle of the woods, we stopped and he turned off the tractor and turned out all the lights! It was so freaking cool and scary, too. Then he started telling a spooky story but one of the kids got really scared and started crying, lol, so we had to crank back up and go. But it was so much fun; Chicklet loved it.

Then when we got back, they had a big bonfire going and we toasted marshmallows and made s'mores. :D

yeah, I agree about the slap...Torre is definitely a class act. yeah I agree about Donny Baseball, I think not only is he inexperienced in the management role, he is experienced from a player role..which will kill him with the Boss-just ask (well figuratively speaking) Billy Martin and Reggie jackson.

It went pretty well - it's not rocket science or anything (pretty much just menial office stuff), but they're very nice and maybe it will open some other doors (Mitch Landrieu has his local office right upstairs!) . . . and Buddha knows I DESPERATELY need the $$!!!

Doin okay. Went to Belmont Park today today to watch the ponies and have a couple of beers. Only lost about 20 bucks which for me is winning! Now tunes and baseball and dinks.

Unfortunately, the season is over tomorrow at Belmont. Next year maybe. And if you want a nice weekend you should go up to Saratoga during the summer. Old quaint track (over 100 years old) the barns are across the street so when they send the horses over for each race they have to stop traffic to let em through. It's a real throwback, and a nice town as well.

And don't bet on my horses. I overheard a couple of guys talking about a crony that they considered a jinx and the quote applies to me alot the times when I bet a horse....."that m#$%f$%er could stop TIME from running!" I died when I heard that.
