I just noticed that my Timbuk2 bag is a little too large for fest. I'm looking for a nice bag to bring all my daily supplies to fest in but, I don't want it to look like a purse, even though I am very secure in my masculinity. No really, I am.
Any one have any suggestions for a bag, or at least the features that you like about your bag.
Thanks.

I have used my trusty LL Bean backpack for 10 years. Nothing special but it does the job.

I bought a Delta original Mystery Street Records messinger bag. I'm going to give it a dry run next week. I'm sure it will be just perfect!

That bag is pretty sweet.
Carolina, is there anything to worry about such as pickpocketing with a backpack?

I've probably been a bit slack at Fest in the past, but I've never had a problem taking my money & camera with me and leaving the pack under my chair. Nothing has ever happened. I may have just been lucky but I don't worry about it.
Now, walking down Bourbon St., etc. Yeah, watch you stuff.

I leave things under my chair and also have a sign on it inviting folks to sit in it. never had anything taken buy my friend juana has had 2 big ass zulu umbrellas taken from beside her chair.

I wear one of these for money, id, tickets, etc. Not afraid of theft - afraid of forgetting where I left these things. :o

I've been using the same Sierra Club backpack I got many, many years ago....it's a little worn but still working great.
