Hi there,

I am a South African and will be heading to NO Jezz Fest on the first weekend. I just want to know what is the best time to arrive. I really want to watch Avett brother and Mumford and sons and want to make sure I dont miss them.

just from what I have read it seems that it would be best to be there before 11? I mean would a band like Mumford and sons play as early as noon? because on there myspace site they say they are playing at 12:00pm and Avett brothers are playing at 7:00pm.

If you can help in anyway that would be brilliant.

The fest runs from 11am to 7pm. The big headliners usually go on last.

An actual schedule by time should be coming out at the end of March so you can be sure.

I strongly recommend coming for the entire day. While you are waiting for those bands, you will have the chance to experience wonderful music from people you may not have heard of before. It's all great! :D

Agreed. As for Mumford's site saying noon, they might have just said that since that's when the day starts, but they'll likely be on much later in the afternoon. But still, you'll want to experience everything else, so get there early!
