Good to see Comic Relief is bringing NOLA back in the spotlight. Using a true NOLA band for the houseband is great, too.

Who else saw this? I thought it was excellent. I'm sure there's another post on this somewhere and I'm way behind, haven't been able to visit here in a week!

Despite the noble intentions of the host comedians, I thought a lot of the humor was embarassingly sophmoric, and I kept wishing they'd just let the musicians loose for a while. When it became apparent that it wasn't going to happen, I moved on. I'm glad they gave Craig Klein's efforts some deserved attention in a substantial segment. Has anyone heard about how much money was raised?

Yeah, the comedic performances were the worst part of the show in my opinion! My favorite was Stephen Colbert, that guy always gets me laughing. Granted he wouldn't be as funny without visual props. Haven't heard about the $$ raised yet, don't see an update on their website yet . . .
