Public Radio Fundraising - Please contribute!

This is the coordinated week for Public Radio stations around the country to hold their Spring Fundraiser. While many of us listen and contribute to WWOZ, I want to take a minute to encourage everyone to support their local Public station and other stations you may have found on the Internet. Among the reasons to contribute are the worldwide coverage of NPR news, and the local flavor of your hometown stations music and news programs. Local stations with music formats are a distinctly endangered species in the radio world today, so if you've got one you like, please contribute.

I know there are several of us on this board who host music shows worthy of your support, as well. I will be doing my fundraiser edition of the Big City Blues Cruise, <WEMU.org>, this afternoon from 3-6 pm EDT. You are all invited to groove or give as you see fit. Give where you can, support the Music! Thanks. :cool:
