They're doing a large tour these days. On NYE in NYC, they're playing with Toots, performing three sets in a performance called Dub Side Of The Mule..

They're playing here in Cincy on the 18th of November at the Taft Theater. Anyone planning to see them this run?

TICKETING NOTE
Please note that the ticketing process for XMas Jam Ticketing has changed. Please read what is below very carefully to ensure that you get your tickets without any problem. Demand is usually very high during the pre-sale for Xmas Jam tickets, so we strongly recommend that you register your email BEFORE the pre-sale begins. See below for information:

In order to purchase tickets you will need to validate your email address. Go to xmasjam.tickets.musictoday.com. If you have previously purchased Xmas Jam tickets directly from the band, your email address will already be validated (but it's a good idea to check anyway). If you have not, enter your email address in the box and click 'sign me up.' You will then be prompted to enter your first name, last name, and birth date. Once complete, click 'Continue.'

Shortly thereafter, you will receive an email to the address you entered. Clicking the link contained in the email validates your email address and you are then ready to purchase tickets when the pre-sale starts this Monday, November 13th, at noon Eastern. If you have any issues receiving the validation email, please contact muletix@musictoday.com.

The NYE eve show will be the last show at the Beacon for a while. Its been purchased by madison square garden and will be closing for renovations. Place has a lot of character so hopefully they won't ruin it.

Now it sounds like renovations will be delayed until 2008...maybe one last edition of March Madness with the Allmans in the old place....

Wish I was. None of my traveling buddies can do this plus I can't ask off during the Retail Hell Season - and it would require an overnight stay. :(
