Any of you Chicago folks listen to Eclectic Company last night? Nicholas Tremulus had on Bob Dylan's drummer (whos name escapes me), who is from New Orleans. He played some tracks including a live Fats version of "Walking To New Orleans", the Meters' "Fiyo on the Bayou", and a third song, "Someone's Been Sleeping in My Bed". All three songs were smoking! Problem is, they never mentioned who the artist was on the third song. Only that "Ivan" did a great job arranging it. I looked on Ivan Neville's web site and find no such song on his albums. So, did anyone else here it or can any Threadheads help me out here to find out more about this song?

Thanks,

Belle

Hey Frosty

Dru Hill released an self titled album in '96 with the title Someone and the chorus matches. I don't know how to make the link work for AOL music. But that is a start. Several folks have recorded it but he wrote it.

Hope that gets you started.

I Googled Dru Hill and I can guarantee that is not the group. This sounded just like something from Ivan Neville/Papa Grows Funk meets Blind Boys of Alabama/Holmes Brothers. Not pop at all.

I looked on the XRT site for a playlist for Eclectic Company and they now have the March 6 one. I guess in two weeks, I'll find out.

Thanks
