I was wondering whether you are able to purchase 2nd weekend tickets At the Fairgrounds ticket office, for the advance discount price, during the 1st Fest weekend.
I know someone who is going 1st weekend, but I don't want to make them go to New Orleans Arena, so if someone could tell me whether they can just stop at the box office on their way into the Fest and pay the $35 price without fees for 2nd weekend tickets.
Thanks!

Not 100% sure, but I think you can buy them early. Where in S. Cal. are you from?
San Gabriel here. :)

I've ordered some group tickets for both weekends. I probably will have a few extras for both weekends. Will sell for face value, but I need to do it in cash, as I don't want to deal with headaches.

The $35 tickets are on sale until Thursday May 3 & the Arena is not too far from the Quarter. We get there (from LA) on May 1, so we'll have a couple of days ourselves. The box office is open 'til 4:30P.

it was in the 70's. 'garbage grove', 'trash avenue', mile square park, Kona Kai (sp?) trailer park - lots of wild happenings. but it was a different time.

thought he looked familiar. ;)
i spent a few summers out there with my dad in the 1970-72, but i was barely a teen then. used to hitch to the beach - parents encouraged it - it was safe & free.
