nothing from delta - they are having some trouble making money these days

I called AA this afternoon. The discount is 5%. On my ~$200 ticket, I could have saved $10.07. But AA charges a $10 fee to book by phone, so the code would have saved me seven cents.

The phone numbers are mis-leading, most airlines want to book online these days. You can use these codes online, Northwest calls them a meeting code. I think I saved more like 10%, almost enough for another entree at K-Paul's, much better than a sharp stick in the eye!:cool:

I get an email from TravelZoo today, claiming the Airlines have dropped fares for flights from the midwest. So I punch in my Fest dates just for sh*ts & giggles. Thurs. 4/26 - Mon. 5/7 is now $1463 r/t direct from my lovely friends at Delta. Ummmmm, big sale??? That's a full grand over what I paid....
