TAXI ROUTES TO JAZZ FEST 2010


Sauvage, N. Lopez and Mystery Streets at Maurepas Street are closed to the public and vehicular traffic.


Fortin Street is only open to Residential, Emergency and Festival/Staff Traffic.
Taxi Routes from Downtown


1. Orleans to Moss to Grand Route St. John. Taxi permitted to drop off and pick up fares ONLY at Taxi stands.
2. Broad Street to LaHarpe to Stallings Playground. Pick-ups are at the playground on Gentilly. ALL TAXIS MUST TURN RIGHT ON LAPEYROUSE TO EXIT.

TEMPORARY TAXI CAB STANDS ARE POSTED AT THESE LOCATIONS:
1. Fortier Park – Esplanade at Mystery (Opposite Canseco’s grocery, Santa Fe, Café Degas and the old Circle K)
2. Stallings Playground – between Lapeyrousse and LaHarpe
3. Gentilly Pedestrian Entrance – Drop-off & pick-up for people with disabilities.

PLEASE ADVISE YOUR PASSENGERS OF THE FOLLOWING RULES AT THE FESTIVAL:

All bags are searched at the gate


NO hard coolers of any size, thermoses, glass, outside beverages (except factory sealed water up to 1 liter). Empty twelve-pack or smaller sized SOFT COOLERS are permitted

NO blankets or ground tarps larger than 6’ by 8’.
NO wagons, and carts, stakes, metal poles, tents, shade canopies, beach or pole umbrellas, pets.
NO audio or video recording equipment.
NO weapons, illicit drugs or other contraband.
NO unauthorized vending, athletic games, or wheeled personal transport devices.
Wheelchairs for people with disabilities and push strollers for children are permitted

NO RE-ENTRY. OTHER PROHIBITIONS MAY APPLY
Festival reserves the right to deny admittance to or remove from the festival anyone in violation of these policies.
