when i was in chile i ran into some people doing the same thing and got my hug too. the singer is Israel Kamakawiwo'ole (better known as IZ). he is hawaiian and the cd track does go into a version of what a wonderful world.

YYR, RT and Jada,,very sad story about IZ, fantastic voice and a real nice person from what I was told from a local there...I first heard that version of the song in the movie "Finding Forrester" and have loved it ever since.
