From NYT today:
Another French Quarter
Two months after hurricaine Katrina, the French culture minister , Renaud de Vabres, visited New Orleans and proclaimed his country's solidarity with the beleagured city by offering to organize an exhibition of art from the Louve, the Musee d'Orsay and other French museums. Promise fulfilled. "Femme, Femme, Femme: Paintings of Women in French Society from Daumier to Picasso," with nearly 100 works, is now at the New Orleans Museum of Art through June 3.
Sounds like it might be a cool exhibit to check out. Has anyone vsited the exhibit yet?
