CALLING ALL GRIDDERS
Since I won't be able to type much after my surgery in a couple of weeks, I've put together an Excel file with all of the live music clubs in NOLA that I could track down, including address, phone and website.
That way some of the other threadheads can keep checking for new listings for the grids.
('casue you know it's gonna kill me not to be grid-detecting!!)
Does anyone know a website where I can upload this file and you all can download it for free?

Create a free acct. and upload any file to share with something like 10 or 12 people. You can repost to share repated times.

When's the surgery, do you have an exact date yet?

I just created an account, and it looks like what they offer is a way to email a file. I was actually looking for a site where folks could download a file.

Tell you what might be easiest. If anyone wants a copy of the file, drop me an email at neenatlanta at comcast dot net.
Put "club list" in the subject so I can easily identify.

No, you upload your file there and either send an invite for downloading to folks or send an invite yourself and post the link to others.
You're limited to a certain number of downloads with the free version... but I don't remember how many that is.

Neen: Best of luck with your surgery....I'll miss not seeing/meeting you at the Fest:( I know it must be bad for you too....is it trite to say "I feel your pain"??? Remember that laughter is the best medicine, so keep your sense of humor and do all your PT exercises. Have a great recovery.....

Cool - glad to hear it. I'm having a complete rotator cuff tear repaired, and also something called a "bone resection" on my AC (shoulder) joint.
But I'll be at fest, even if one of my wings is broken!

Neen - Please let me add my best wishes. When I got killed in a car wreck (Feb 06), I significantly messed my shoulder, among other things. I had higher priority issues, so my shoulder didn't didn't get to the top of the worklist until Nov 06. By Jan 07, it was healed. Shoulder operations are well-understood by the medical profession, and usually go quite well. Good luck to you.
