I did the grids (jazzfestgrids.com) for three years...made a lot of friends during that time.

Concert lineup announced for Lafayette Square
The Young Leadership Council announced its 2007 Wednesday at the Square Concert Series lineup, which includes Grammy award winner Irma Thomas and many other regional favorites.
Presented by Hancock Bank, the free concert series runs every Wednesday from April 4–June 20, 2007, 5:00–7:30 p.m. in Lafayette Square, just off Poydras Street between St. Charles Avenue and Camp Street.
Wednesday at the Square will feature one music stage with performances by two different bands each week. There will be food from many of New Orleans’ famous restaurants and beer from Abita Brewing Company along with cocktails, soft drinks and more. There will also be an Artist Village with arts and crafts for sale by local artisans.
The schedule is:
April 4 - The Iguanas / Hot 8 Brass Band
April 11 - Cowboy Mouth / Track Rabbit
Apr. 18 - Irma Thomas / Jake Smith
Apr.25 - subdudes / Paul Cebar & the Milwaukeeans
May 2 - Marcia Ball / Paul Sanchez
May 9 - The Radiators / Robert Fortune Band
May 16 - Sonny Landreth / The Bluerunners
May 23 - Terrance Simien / Amanda Shaw
May 30 - Beausoleil / Ghost Town
June 6 - Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave / The Hons
June 13 - Walter Wolfman Washington / 101 Runners
June 20 - Bag of Donuts / The Sanchez Twins

Yeah, this is the annual Wednesday at the Square series. Fan Fest will be on Thursday, and also at Lafayette Park.
