The announcement: The Foundation wants you to know the schedule for the Fest line up by days will be posted on the Fest website tonight, Thursday, March 8, 2007 on the Festival website, www.nojazzfest.com and you will be able to go back to that Fest website after March 25 to see the line up by times and stages.

Also there will be printable versions of those schedules when the times will be announced on March 25.

Well, I couldn't find any that weren't almost full so I'm gonna use one of my daughter's spray-in conditioner bottles. It's opaque and it will be much easier to clean out and I think it will hold more.

I thought Quint said after many years of many requests they were putting an area in front that is for dancing, the chairs could move back some. Dunno how big or if it's on one side but something is going to happen on the 2 main stages. should be interesting, i'm in favor. He mentioned the chair blockades that have been in effect lately.

Yea, you can spray it in while you're at the beach or if you're outside all day to keep the sun from drying your hair out (Cosmo tip). It also says on the bottle for use on wet or dry hair. They didn't even look inside my backpack last year; they tapped the outside of it.

RE: hair spray bottle - it all really depends on how diligent the security people are at the gate. I've come in with an opened water bottle full or rum or vodka, with no problem. I just make sure its shoved way down in the cooler!

Well, first I consider who I'm going to see at night. Then I consider who I've seen lots of times. Next, I'm not big on BNAs so they don't really enter my picture. On the 28th, I 'll probably camp at the jazz and heritage stage, with trips to jazz, congo, lagniappe and gospel. On the 29th I could camp at gentilly or jazz and heritage. Second weekend, mileage varies but I know I'll be closing fest at my favorite stage-jazz and heritage, with my favorite injun, big chief bo dollis and the wild maggies. Life is so very good.

easy for me too...seeing lucinda earlier in the week, and unwilling to take a chance on a crowded area for morrison for a daytime festival setting performance (based on past experiences, all of which have been disappointing). sounds like a great time to wander around the smaller stages, hang out at geno's, then give in and check out van anyway just in case i'm wrong.
