A decade ago, Los Hombres Calientes seemed to have the top selling CD at Fest almost every year. But they have other projects, and rarely (never?) play together anymore...

On Tuesday night, the City of New Orleans & Mayor Ray Nagin present Los Hombres Calientes: Reunited for Haiti featuring Bill Summers and Irvin Mayfield & friends at the House of Blues. Mayfield and Summers - the co-leaders of Los Hombres Calientes - will reunite for a night of party music and Latin jazz with all proceeds benefiting relief work in Haiti. To volunteer, please email Stephanie Mayne at smayne@thenojo.com. Doors are at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8. Tickets are $25.
