I need some clarification on the Brass Pass and the entry into the hospitality tent. The pass is good for entry for the holder and one other guest. The WWOZ site also indicates that kids under 12 and disabled are also granted entry. So, if I have a pass will by wife and 11 year old be able to enter or just one or the other?

I sent WWOZ an email but no reply yet.

My understanding is that this year the brass pass is transferrable. But it's one brass pass per body. Sounds like you may need 3 brass passes. After Feb 19, the price of each brass pass rises to $425.00.

That being said, brass pass is tremendous, I think. You have in and out privileges, access to the Hospitality tent (free fruit, coffee, water, relatively clean Porta A Potty and a place to wash your hands, access to internet and friendly people), if you elect to , you will receive the complimentary OZ CD and, of course, be contributing to the best independent radio station in the nation (if not the world). (also eligible for various deals with Louisiana Music Factory, etc.)

If you are only going for one weekend, you may be able to work a deal on the threads here somewhere. But it is one pass per person, baby. Not sure about the deals with kids. Might be in your interest to look up getting advance tix through TicketMaster because I think kids are only charged $5. or $10. Can't remember.

In my mind, it's a good deal.

I'm not an expert, but I do believe you can take a guest into the hospitality tent. I'm not sure about a minor child additionally. I think the above poster was thinking of admission to the Fest, not cooling off in the tent.

I was only referring to admission to the hospitality tent not admission to the fest. It's the addition of a child in addition to an adult companion I was trying to figure out. Thanks!
