cool! I had a chapman stick on long-term loan during the 80's-90's and couldn't wring one good sound outta the thing, so I'm more than a little impressed by the technical part of Charlie's playing. But what really cements it for me is the playfulness - he's fearless! I miss him in GAT, but I did notice he was strained at the last High Sierra Music Fest late night show I heard him play with the band - then after reading this, I wasn't surprised he felt the need to part with the boys:

Tell me the image of Seinfeld's Elaine doing the spaz-dance doesn't come to mind when Charlie talks about GAT's audience! :D

good reads! that story about the off-time dancer is crazy! lol. it's funny but i can see how it would grow tiresome. you pay to go to a show to listen to what's being played, not dictate it! also, you let the women dance up front;)
