I had a wave of Threadhead love this morning, and I just wanted to share that I think that you guys are awesome! I'm not here often enough to really get to know everyone, but I have to say that from the start the feel that you create together is a good one. It's a positive to have a place like this to check into, and it's also really cool to know that there are folks like you supporting New Orleans and keeping it alive. It's a reassuring and inspirational vibe.

Your right though. There is an awesome feeling of "community" here. Amazing to know that there are so many other "like minded" folks out there.

and boy...threadheads can use all the lovin' they get and recycle it back out as ,,,,,LOVE!
Love is the only commodity that multiplies when you give it out and comes back to ya tenfold!!
Well while this bored aint' perfect, its a great place to speak up, ask questions, giggle and laugh out loud snort through your nose kinda funny....please, please y'all come to the meetups and hang out! I guess we'll be talkin' fairground meetups soon!!

As a member of many boards this place is the best!!
Of course we have a common theme!
Anyway I just wanted to say I thought this was a great header because I know my First Fest is going to be great because of all you folks do here.
Because of you I also have a new vocabulary and acronyms in my head....oh and a new powerful addition!!!

If you go to someone's profile, you can add them to your ignore list by hitting the ignore feature and you won't see their posts. I haven't seen a reason to use it to be honest but evidently there have been past problems.

Can I get in on that group hug too? I have to agree that this place has people that RAWK! So friendly & helpful & a true genuine spirit. I too am a member of a few boards and I know I can come here and it will be a positive experience. I've truely got the JF virgin fever because of this place and it's ALL good! Thanx for takin' me in!

YYR, this group rawks....this group is good for what ails ya! Whether it is a stop by the bar for some dinks, or discussing footwear, music, NOLA or the myriad of topics that can arise in a day(especially the drift:-).
I have had a few tough moments since I joined this group and there was always not only one, but many kind words and positive vibes my way. I hope I karma-lized y'all even half of da amount that y'all have done for me.

Even though I was at the patry last year, I really didn't know that many people. Hey, it's not "you guys", it's "us guys". Every one of you who posts, newbie or not, is part of the Threadhead nation. We just haven't met face-to-face yet.
It is an amazing spirit on this board, and always a pleasure to come here to visit.
My husband had to explain to me what STFU means (shut the fu** up).
I told him I didn't know, because NO ONE on this board would ever say such a thing, compared to some of the boards he goes to.
