Just heard that Derrick "Kabuki" Shezbie's (of ReBirth Brass Band) mom passed away on New Year's Eve. :(

She used to work at Verti Marte and I had the pleasure of making her acquaintance a few times and conversing with her. Nice lady, great cook, and very proud of Derrick.
