Tickets?

Yeah!!! I booked flights!!! I'm coming for 2nd weekend!!! 2nd fest ever!!!

Quick and perhaps dumb question - if I show up in New Orleans on Thursday evening, will I still be able to get the $35 advance tickets? If not, is there another way to get tickets without having to pay the $10 extra per ticket, or the $7 per ticket TicketBastard surcharge? Thanks for the help, everyone!

Awesome, Dave. You won't be able to get tickets thursday night but there are some nola peeps on this bored talking about buying tickets at the arena for those in need. I think it's on the everything you wanted to know about jazzfest forum.

Excellent. I just posted on the other forum... And after I deal with getting fest tickets for my friend and I, I can move on to important things, like meeting some of you nice folks (unfortunately, I missed my chance back in '04, although i met a few of you at the Big Apple to the Big Easy concert), and, ummm, where to stay and all that. :)

If anyone knows anything more about this ticket thing, please let me know!

Roflmao, me either...I have a pic that has more threadheads in it...I'll post from home tonight. My head was all over the place that night. What a rollercoaster that time was. I remember going to the after party with the 2for's and Shamarr. What a blast. Dirty Dozen playing and dancing with Buffet who was h-a-m-m-e-r-e-d! Quint drinkin' cognac straight from the bottle while talking on stage, and hanging with Kermit at the bar for a few minutes. It was truly magical :)
