On Tab's website on the tour scheduale there are three dates from April 30-May 2nd listed as "VOW record" in New Orleans. It sounds like he is possibly recording another voice of the wetlands CD, but why post as tour dates? Is it some type of fundraiser for VOW? Curious if anyone has any insight on this?

No, but I sure would like to know. I definitely would like to contribute to that action.
According to Johnny Sansone's website, the Voice of The Wetlands band will be playing The Howlin' Wolf on Saturday, April 28th.

Don't forget to notify DanK so he can update the grids.

They played the IAC show last year and ripped it up. Definitely pencil that one in on the lineup.

Tab plays every year at this judge's throwdown just outside Paris, Arkansas. It's a camping, byobandfood deal on the judge's land out in the country. About 300 peeps attend. The last year I went the judge had Kenny Neal, Chubby Carrier and Tab Benoit. Ooooooweeee! And Tab and Chubby's washboard player judged a maque choux cooking contest.
