Even if you are really, really sure you never know what might happen to change your plans

And if this happens then only a few of our friends from down under will be around to buy those tickets from you at the last minute.

Just a word to the wise.

Oh, and you might simply be overfed and overwatered from a day at fest. Never know ya know. So just don't overdo it.

Sounds like good advice, Azeater. Thanks. Maybe I'll just wing it.

judgement call. some shows will sell out in advance. i prefer to have my tickets for the shows i really plan to see as motivation to go when my dogs are killing me and bed is looking like heaven at the end of a long day of festing.

Yeah, and we still miss half of em anyway, but it's a "donation" to NOLA in that case ;)

Just remember that if the Lord comes and tells you it is time to come upstairs with Him you don't want to be standing there arguing with Him because you have a pocket full of tickets.

I think I might need to go put a little Orajel on the inside of my cheek. I think I might be developing a bit of a blister.

Hmm, actually I think I would be aruging with him if he tries to take me before at least one Jazz Fest Cowboy Mouth show! ;)

there's another thread with solutions for your problem that refer to a few topical ointments that work the best

Well, yeah. Of course. That is, assuming you're heading upstairs...

I'm assuming nothing! Who says the fun people are going to be upstairs anyway?? ;)

they guy who says to you "ok, it's your time you're comin upstairs w/ me..(i thought God sent Brad Pitt to do this work)" so you say..."well, ok...but I haVe a pocket of great tix left, hmm" you turn to the guy or chick next to you and say...sorry i cant use these anymore...
and THAT guy turns out to be god and NOW you get front row tix to every show you wanted to see (and supplementals).
now THAT is heaven....

then again, i hate to have a zero balance on my credit cards when the world ends - would seem like a huge waste. myabe i should run them up with lots of tickets.

i just cannot stand most of the venues when they are 'sold out'. way too crowded for this old broad. and i loathe handling fees. so i'll stick with wait and see.
