When I came down in November of '05 to help with relief efforts, I stumbled upon this festival in Houma put on by Tab Benoit. I went by myself and had a wonderful time. Last year, I scheduled my relief trip around the festival planning to get there Sunday afternoon and night for the big show with Tab, Dr. John, etc. Thing is, storms blew through and I think they even had a tornado in Houma. I never drove down there and stayed back at my friends place because of the severe weather. I have looked on the site and do not see a word mentioned about the show. Does anybody know what happened? I assume they cancelled it because of the dangerous weather but could it have been moved, rescheduled, etc?
I also see this year's dates are announced so I will likely schedule another relief trip in mid October again.
