To use a phrase..."I may be preaching to the choir" here...but if any of you are fans of the Gospel Tent and have not purchased Glen David Andrews (ThreadHead Records) CD "Walking Through Heavens Gate" I suggest that you jump on it.

I tried through his web site and was redirected to the Louisiana Music Factory site which was out. I called the store direct and they are out of supply and don't know when they will be getting more. I finally appealed to Chris J. who directed me to Amazon (the $14.88 site). Seamless purchase and I received today.

Perhaps it is offensive to some...but at 11 AM EDT I am drinking a Bud and dancing my butt off to some very fine music. I recommend the disc highly.The beverage choice is up to you.

That set was one of my favorites of last fest. I had tears flowing and a big permagrin at the same time. Very proud to be a theadhead..

Off the hook for sure.

Now, I feel bad we have to copies of the CD. My 8 year old blasts it in her room every morning when she gets ready for school.

That show was easily my girls' highlight from Jazz Fest last year.

Hmmpf.

I'm offended because I'm NOT dinking an adult beverage and dancing my butt off at 3 pm EST...

Instead I'm working in a cube farm, earning my fare to JF 2010...

But in my mind, I'm shaking my Holy Rugalator and praising Tha Lawd for my TH friends and the mighty fine music of GDA.

Heck! For ALL the fine TH Rekkids artists: Thank ya Lord!!!

Don't forget, you can always download this (and all THR releases) at the THR Bandcamp site: http://threadheadrecords.bandcamp.com, for $9.99 or less!
Download right into iTunes or burn it to disc yourself, several formats available.
