We will be driving in a small RV to the event. Does anyone know of a convenient RV park where we could stay, plug in and leave our van and take shuttle?

surrounding area may be slightly dicey, not sure about shuttles, but you can get a cab there.

I believe the Saturns had a friend who stayed there last year.

Some of my wife's relatives just stayed there (again), and they love the place. It's pricey as RV parks go, but they say it's worth it and secure.

Not sure if its still there, but many a year ago when I used to drive my van to JF, I would stay at an OK park on Chef Menteur highway
