Yes, for me, it was the recording of the Glen David Andrews CD last year.
I hate that I won't make it to NOLA that week this year. That was becoming my traditional service week down there. But, the baby left me without any vacation to use.

The rule in our house is that any birthday that you're out of town doesn't count. I'm desperately trying to come up with a way to extend my trip until Tuesday!

If you all end up on Frenchmen St., I play Tuesdays with a country blues specialist named Ken Swarz in his Palace of Sin at the Apple Barrel. We start late, like 11, and go til at least 2, usually the last band on the street. That gig has been going really well.
