November 15th yes it is a Sunday but there is no better place other than New Orleans to see them. IMHO

Any TH's thinking of going? We get there early to eat (good food) and find a seat front and center.

Anyone in the Mid-Atlantic? Will hold a seat for ya.

If you are going to Festgiving/wedding..this will take the edge of coming home!

I still cannot believe I missed one of my favorite live bands this year at JF. I guess Neil will do that to you.
Belle, enjoy the show!

Thank God for Neil Young. Thanks to him the crowd for Los Lobos and the Rads was totally manageable. It was almost like having them play for a private party.

Belle: That should be a great show. I love the Birchmere.

:D So right on that one....room to move and groove

What I love about the Los Lobos is that each show is so different and they still keep it fun and new.

The only regret is that it appears no Threadheads will be there but I will enjoy for all.

Hey Now Belle---Have a great time, and when we finally meet, remind me to tell you a couple of my Los Lobos stories. Thanks to some friends, I have had a few late nights with David Hidalgo. He is an amazing musician, (one of my favorites for many years) but that guy has got an entire tribe's worth of Wild Tchapitoulas-Mescalero injuns in him, all just-a waiting to warpath, once the ol' firewater gets to flowin'............

Enjoy some homegrown American rock-n-roll tonight, Los Lobos style!!!

I'm going to ask you about that, MM. He's one of my favorite musicians too.

Thanks for the heads up on the new CD mymecca. And thanks to iTunes for allowing immediate purchases like this. Came home tonight after reading this earlier today and went straight to the computer to buy and download because I knew this would be a winner for the whole family. The last half-hour that our three daughters (and us) have spent singing and dancing crazy around the kitchen and living room is one of those moments that makes life so great.

I had to check their tour dates. East/West coast & Midwest. No Texas dates. I'm now kicking myself for missing them in NOLA.
Well, it is the Subdudes tonight! They are playing the best venue to see them in Houston. Small club, capacity 99. Two shows tonight, why not both?
