I have visited this site many times but never jumped in and posted something so here goes (be kind)...
I go to LSU (geaux Tigers!) and we have had the band Swampnoise in concert here a few times and would like to recommend them for Jazz Fest and Voodoo Fest.
They are from the Ms Gulf Coast and also came back from Katrina...from their website (www.myspace.com/swampnoisemusic) I know they have played in New Orleans with NOLA bands Dumpstaphunk, Papa Gros, and other national bands like 3 Doors Down, Blues Traveler, etc. I also saw them at Bayfest in Mobile 2 weeks ago. The Jazz Fest is so much fun I think they would add to it! Young guys with cool funky music!
