I just watched the first show I ever TiVo'ed from the Gospel Music Channel. It's the "Blind Boys Of Alabama - Live In New Orleans". According to the credits at the end of it, it was recorded at Tipitina's during Jazzfest 2008 and it's about twice as long on the DVD version (which was plugged several times at the bottom of the screen during the broadcast). The show features special guests Dr. John, Susan Tedeschi, Henry Butler, Marva Wright and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. The part they showed on the TV show was the usual stuff, but very good. I checked to see if there are any upcoming repeats of the show and there don't seem to be any in the next two weeks, but you might want to keep an eye out for it in the future on the Gospel Music Channel, which doesn't really seem to show that much music, but does have lots of old TV shows like Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman and Amen. Or you might want to look for the DVD, which I saw for $18 at Amazon. I'm sorry I didn't mention this before the show ran.
