October 10th
Who will be in the house. We are bringing some Bone virgins with us. Playing with them is a good local funk band "Higher Hands". Should be a solid show.
Hope to see some of the local contingent there.

I would usually be bummed out that I was going to miss Da Bone, but seeing as I will be in NOLA that weekend, I should be fine. Nope, still bummed.

Oh man what a show. Mike Mills (THAT Mike Mills, although I suppose that could mean a bbq guy for hardcore food geeks) sitting in at the end and singing a rousing version of "Ohio." And a couple of cute chick singer-songwriters (Erin McKeown and Nicole Atkins) doesn't hurt either.

I sent a note to Craig about Joe the organ player cause I really like the sound to see if he was going to be in the house and Craig said
"Hi Lynda,
Joe is out with us the whole month, but has to go back to NO for some shows he has to do so he won't be there in Balti. Working on someone else or we'll see. We do like having the organ and glad you like it too.
See you next week.
Take care,
ck "
For me its always good when then change it up...looking forward to Saturday night..

I'm there!
That show Monday night was a thriller! Got to meet Mike Mills and take a picture with him.
Bonerama was great as the backing band and also as the Bonerama that we all know and love. Joe on organ is tearing it up. Let me know if y'all are meeting up for pre-game. I should be able to get up that way early. :)

Yay, Nicole! She is a local girl, and a customer at my store. I see on the set list they did several of her songs. I'll have to ask her how she hooked up with the Bones.
