Here are some videos from this past weekends Traffic Jam Fest in Baltimore, MD. It was really good to see KDTU back out and about again it seems like a while since I've seen them. Looking forward to the new album, Brothers Keeper. My flip cam continues to be highly dependable but still has trouble with Dumpstaphunk, for the second time now. I put up the only decent clip I got of them. There is some Medeski, Martin & Wood as well as a Tea Leaf Green clip. Enjoy!!!

P.S. If you haven't do yourself a favor and watch the Robert Cray video as well. My favorite.

How was the attendance for this? We were gonna head down, but were turned off by the price

It was a pricey ticket, ended up being $66 for the Sunday pass. It was especially pricey considering they didn't deliver on what they advertised. First, nothing was outside so all day Sunday of Labor Day weekend we were watchin shows inside a club. Only Dumpstaphunk and a couple others were supposed to be inside. Second, they cut MMW's time slot by an hour. Then turned the lights on during Dumpsta, which started 30 min late, to push everybody out 2 minutes before 2am during their last song. Also the stage crew was taking forever between bands. Overall not a very well run event.

But, to answer your question the attendance was super low I was never crowded and was right in front of the stage the entire time. The Sonar looked empty compared to the only time I was there before. So in that aspect the price was worth it. The music was top notch Dumpsta, MMW and KDTU delivered as they always do.

first - very nice vid's! Then to go gadget-geek, does the flip automically "choke down", or limit, high sound pressure levels or are you setting the audio input levels? I love the sound quality in your collection.

I haven't set any audio levels, I don't believe you can with the FlipCam. Its pretty much just point and shoot with a minimal 2x zoom. The audio turns out great almost all the time. The only two bands that gave the Cam difficulty are Dumpstaphunk & New Mastersounds. You can hear the bass giving the Cam some audio issues at the start of the Dumpsta video.

It's my new favorite toy. Can't wait to use this at JF.
