Are any of the threadheads going to see Irma and Rebirth at Harbourfront on Sunday?

Thanks for the heads up on Irma playing in Toronto.We have plans for Sunday but she's not playing until 9:30.So it's possible.

I'm pizzed! Terrance Simien is there on Sunday and Monday too...but I'm going to be out in Niagara on the Lake. Have fun for me!

I missed Rebirth but made it just as Irma was starting.She was terrific!I brought a friend who had never heard of her and now he is a big fan.Thanks again for mentioning it on the forum or I probably would have missed it.

I managed to make it back in time to catch most of Terrance, and it was great too! I'm a little bummed about missing Irma, but I DID buy her recent CD while i was at Harbourfront, and it's fantastic! It's called "Simply Grand", and if y'all haven't heard it...GET IT. It's just Irma and a bunch of guest piano players, and I listened to it three times last night...wonderful stuff.

We went to see ZZtop in Detroit Saturday night and as we were stuck in traffic, we could hear Irma belting it out just beautifully from the Jazzfest :) It was nice. We caught about 20 minutes of her set that way.
