Darn... I wish she would have moved in next door to me :-)
Naww.. I'd be brought up on stalking charges too quickly...
Maybe she will stop by for Sazuracs in my driveway after JF next year :-)

Oooh, I like Sandra Bullock...and she obviously loves NOLA!
A few Fests ago, at the late (great?) Storyville Club on Bourbon, I was there with my sister and her husband to see Dirty Dozen and Henry Butler. I got up to use the restroom, and on my way, I bumped into Miss Sandra who was there with a couple of friends. We danced together for two songs and had a complete blast...
Fast forward to a few months later, and I'm walking my dog Harley around my 'hood here in Toronto. We walk past a club called "the Drake" and Harley stops for his obligatory free cookies and a round of high-fives with the doormen. The Toronto Film Festival was taking place, and as we're standing there, a limo pulls up and out comes Sandra Bullock - she's there to attend a party celebrating some new release of hers. She stops to rub Harley's ears, cameras and fans are going crazy and then she looks at me and says: "Hey, I KNOW you!" We chatted for a few minutes, laughed about second lining to DD in NOLA and then she went inside. I've never had to wait in line to get into the Drake since. :>)
She (and Jesse) apparently have a place in Austin as well, so they definitely have their musical bases covered!

Miss Sandra is definitely welcome to join us relocals. She has done so much for Warren Easton High School. She also in the past has given credit to the people who do the leg work and credits herself for being the backer.
