For those of you set to see any of the remaining tour, fasten your seatbelt. Better yet, don't because you won't be able to shake it down.
Man, what a 3 1/2 hours last night in the hills of Vermont. The good Doctor even did a request for "The Monkey Speaks". I must also admit that this was the the first time I've seen him on guitar.
As for the Nevilles, well yeah, ho hum, just normal God music. I tell you Cyril just kicked a**. On an individual performance, this would go down as WAY over the top. That ain't to take away from Art, Charles or Aaron, but freakin' A!!!!!
For the outdoor Vermont crowd, I got to admit, they were totally into it. While quiet and respectful for Aaron's ballads, when it came to PARTY!!!!
Art is slowed down offstage, but by no means onstage. He is tsill one of the masters of funk.
Oh yeah, we hung out afterwards and wer're fortunate to get the autographes of these gods. They will hang just a smudge below Fat's autograph on our wall of fame!
So now it's on to some dude named Tab on Thursday!!!
