We're coming down next week to deliver my son to college. There are two other boys from the area that are going as well and the mom of one emailed me today and asked if we could all go out for a group dinner on Friday night before the boys move into the dorms on Sat morning. She asked me if I would take care of the reservation and I'm trying to think of a good choice. None of the other parents have been to NO before (!), the boys have just been for orientation - I took them all down in June and we ate at Camellia Grill, Mothers and Acme (and they loved them) I need a restaurant that's casual, good for 18 year olds AND good intro to NO for the parents that will take a res for 9 people on a Friday eve. Any suggestions?

Jacque-Imo's
YES that's a good idea. I wonder if they'll take a reservation though. Is it always a long wait there even during non fest weekends?

Jacque-Imo's
Jacques-Imo's was the first thing that popped into my head, too. I think the boys would love it.
Mandina's is also a favorite of mine, but I have to say that their prices have really gone up since Katrina. :(

have to say Jacques-Imo's is the place- they take rezzies for 5 or more a month out- if they don't have the time you want- they may have something close........definitely our favorite.....for food and people:)
May I suggest a trip to Drago's for appetizers at some point? You are doing these boys and their parents a terrible injustice if you do not introduce them to chargrilled ersters:
