If you have XM Radio ("Real Jazz" station) or DirecTV (channel 850), there is a "behind the music" style interview with Dr. John on right now. Very interesting - he is talking about how he writes music and puts songs together.

dang - we have XM (car,house & internet) but now its too late. i'll check the guide - they tend to repeat stuff. we mostly listen to beyond jazz & x-country.

How long did the interview last? Was it part of a regular show on Real Jazz?Just trying to determine if it will be repeated. I'll check the XM website.

how funny, when i do a serch by artist on the xm site it give me the stations listed below, but not real jazz. i think the interview was on:
